When I was new to theater, I had a particularly rough day. Ryan found me crying alone in a stairwell near the stage. He sat with me, and let me cry and talk about what had happened. He told me I was strong, capable and that the next day always had the potential to be better. He stood up, offered me his arm and I stood up with him. In his kind but goofy way, he said "okay. If you ever need to cry for a role, just remember this moment. Now, let's go annoy people" and every time I had a rough day from there on, I remember that moment with Ryan. Ryan who barely knew me at the time, but dedicated that time to listening, supporting and caring for me. He was such a kind and giving person. Forever grateful for that moment he helped me and for knowing Ryan for the years I did.
