Obituary of Ryan Raymond Robbins
Ryan Raymond Robbins, loving husband, step father, son and brother sadly passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 43. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a rollover crash southeast of Cottage Grove.
Ryan was born on March 3, 1980 in Grand Island Nebraska to Richard and Patricia Robbins. The family moved to Eugene OR in 1985 where Ryan lived the rest of his life.
He graduated from Willamette High School and chose a career as a electrician. He had worked at Builders Electric for many years and was currently working for OEG Electric Construction in Eugene.
On March 27, 2020 Ryan married Melissa Williams and became a step father to daughter Meadow Bennett.
Ryan enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends exploring the trails available in Oregon. Whether on his off road motor cycle or four wheeling he found peace and joy in the outdoors.
His love for family and friends was never questioned. There were many outdoor family adventures and he looked forward to the family Labor Day outings. He was always there to help when asked, soft spoken, very patient, considerate of others and was a true friend to all. He enjoyed a good story and always had a smile on his face.
Ryan had a love for animals and always had pet dogs in his life, many times referring to them as his kids. Needless to say his pets were very spoiled and loved.
Ryan had a very big heart, gave of himself honestly and openly to those he loved. He will be missed by all who knew him and will be cherished in our hearts forever.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Melissa Robbins, step daughter Meadow, parents Rich and Pat Robbins of Eugene, a brother Russ (wife Jennifer) Robbins of Pleasant Hill, Nephew Thomas (wife Emily) Robbins, their daughters Peyton and Paisley of Pleasant Hill and Niece Kari (Robbins) Weaver (husband Vincent) of Grants Pass and Grand Mother Mellie Robbins Mailander of Grand Island, NE, as well as a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 9th between 1:00- 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at:
West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home located at 225 S Danebo Ave,Eugene OR.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ryan's honor may be made to one of his favorite charities the Green Hill Humane Society.
