Ryan Lee Walton, 33, of Coalgate, Oklahoma passed away on August 1, 2024 in Stonewall, Oklahoma. He was born on February 17, 1991 to his parents Gary B. Walton and Mary L. Walton in Atoka, Oklahoma and he grew up in the area. He attended Atoka Elementary School, then went on to Olney, Oklahoma where he attended school until the school was closed. He finished his high school years at Coalgate High School where he proudly played football in positions such as Left Guard, Right Guard, Offense and Defense, and Nose Guard. After he graduated from Coalgate High School, he went on to attend and graduate from Wild Tech Diesel Mechanic School in Pennsylvania. Before Ryan was of age, growing up he always wanted to be a fire fighter. Ryan was a volunteer Fire Fighter at Clarita Fire Department along side his uncle. His grandfather was the first Fire Chief of Clarita for years. He was also a volunteer Fire Fighter at the Olney, Oklahoma Fire Department as well, Ryan truly was a public servant to the communities he grew up in. He was also a dedicated 911 operator for the fire department for many years.
When Ryan wasn't serving his community, you could find him at the river noodling or fishing, hunting and camping, or if it was a nice cool day, you could find him enjoying his hot rods, working on his trucks and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, Ryan loved his family and many friends dearly, he had a huge heart for everyone that he was close to. Ryan was quite a character, and could always make you laugh, and at the same time, he would do anything for just about anyone he came across. Ryan will be greatly missed by all of those who were blessed to have met him.
Ryan is preceded in death by his mother Mary Lynn Walton, his paternal grandparents Junior and Shirley Walton, and his maternal grandparents Red and Barbara Bigelow.
Ryan is survived by his wife Ashley Walton, his daughter Serenity Walton (11), his son Tweeder Walton (2) all of Coalgate, Oklahoma; his father Gary B. Walton of Clarita, Oklahoma; his siblings Gary Don Walton and wife Casey of Denton, Texas, John Henry and wife Lesley of Atoka, Oklahoma, Larry Walton and wife Marissa of Atoka, Oklahoma, Josie Hicks and husband Josh of West Cliff, Colorado, Justin Henry of Crystal, Oklahoma, Rusty Walton of Clarita, Oklahoma, Randall Walton and wife Sabrina of Clarita, Oklahoma; his nieces Emily, Madison, Lilia, Amy, Kimberly, Bridget, and Brooklyn; his nephews Dylan, Keagan, Kaden and Jaxon; his special friend Andrew Lee and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
