With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of WM Ryan Lorenz Wilhelm, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Born in Austin, TX on November 16, 1989, Ryan tragically departed from this world on February 15, 2024, in Rockport, TX, at the age of 34.
Ryan's cheerful spirit and love for skateboarding and football brought joy to all who knew him. As a dedicated member of the City of Aransas Pass lawn maintenance team, Ryan found fulfillment in his work.
He is survived by his loving mother, Pama Wilhelm-Ferguson; his devoted brother, Justin Wilhelm; his caring aunts, Karen Sanders, Debbie Roderick and Cheryl Steinhauser; and his cherished cousins, Chris, Samantha, Melissa, Kimberly and Wesley. Together, they mourn the loss of a kind-hearted soul whose presence brought light to their lives.
He is preceded in death by his Father David Wilhelm and his grandparents, Ted Wilhelm, WM Blackburn and Earline Blackburn.
In honor of Ryan's memory, a memorial service will be held on March 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport. Following the service, Ryan will be cremated, forever resting peacefully. The family wishes to invite all that would like to come to the Boiling Pot, Rockport immediately following the service.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Ryan Wilhelm, let us remember his infectious laughter, his dedication to his work, and the love he shared with all. May his spirit soar freely in the skate parks of eternity, where he can continue to skateboard and play football to his heart's content. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts, Ryan. Rest in peace.
