Wichmann Funeral Home - Downtown AppletonRyan James Wittman passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2025. He had a beautiful, contagious smile, with a bit of mischief that twinkled in his big, brown eyes. He could light up any room with his own goofy songs and dance moves.
Ryan was known for his strong will, love of animals, and, ultimately, his heart of gold. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love that will be cherished forever by his family and friends. Ryan will be missed dearly.
Happy trails, Ryan. You’re finally free. Spread your wings and fly high! Until we meet again. Love you always and forever!
Ryan is survived by his children Bradly Wittman (Tinesha), and Aaliyah Krull (Devin); grandchildren Leighlanie, Lesedi, and Leia Wittman; his dog Daisy; mother Penny Stenson; father Gene Wittman; siblings Angela Coulthard (Jeff), Nikki Tihlarik (Fredrick), Heather Wittman (Ramiro), Chas Van Handle; nieces Jaida Coulthard, Nealy Tihlarik, Leela Tihlarik, and Kennedy Van Handle; nephews Jeffrey Coulthard, Jesse Coulthard, and Carter Van Handle; aunts and uncles Laurie Stenson, Patti Stenson (Dave), Candy Reichelt (Chris), Marge Ware, Wayne Wittman, and Chaz Wittman.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan and Lois Stenson, and Butch and Delores Wittman; his aunts, Lynn Eick, Cheri Baker and Vonnie Kohlberg; and his uncle, Jim Wittman.
Please join us to celebrate Ryan’s life on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Wichmann Funeral Home, located at 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., and the Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
