S. Dale Dillard September 27, 1930 – August 21, 2025 S. Dale Dillard passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Orlando, Florida, on September 27, 1930, Dale moved to Eustis at just one year old, where he spent the remainder of his life rooted in the community he loved. He was the beloved son of Warner S. Dillard and Mildred Rimes Dillard. Dale was a devoted husband to Lottie Barnhill Dillard, with whom he shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. Dale is survived by his son Randall S. Dillard, and his daughter Sharon Dillard Pinard. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melanie Dillard Bradley in 2009. He also leaves behind his sons-in-law, Paul Pinard and Tom Bradley. A proud grandfather, Dale is survived by four grandchildren: Dr. Krista Pinard, Kevin Pinard, Emily Bradley, and Jackson Bradley. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Fedorka, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Eustis, Florida. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with a processional to Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis. Parking Information: Parking for Hamlin & Hilbish will be available in the lot across the street next to Lake Eustis Christian Church. Cones, signage, and possible police assistance will be provided for safe crossing. For those needing additional assistance, parking is available behind the building with ramp access. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to the following: ARC Hospice and Palliative Care 700 N Palmetto Street Leesburg FL 34748. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
