S. Virginia Gibbons, 94, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania went to be with her Lord and Savior August 11, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1931 in Dry Run, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Elizabeth Smith. Virginia was a loving wife to Glenwood Gibbons, who preceded her in death in 2021. Virginia loved serving the Lord in Bible Released Time and Child Evangelism Fellowship, and was a longtime member of Chambersburg Bible Church. She loved music, and especially enjoyed singing hymns with one of her favorites being Under His Wings. Psalm 91 was her favorite Bible passage.

She is survived by her two children: Del (husband of Barbara) Gibbons of Quebec, Canada, and Barb (wife of Roger) Lange of Chambersburg. She was also preceded in death by her sisters and brothers.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11 AM, at the Chambersburg Bible Church with a lunch to follow.
