Sadie Durand Obituary
A celebration of life for Sadie Durand, of Mansura, will begin at 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
Sadie Durand, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Johnny (Dolores) Stephens of Irving, TX.; daughter, Teresa (David) Chaffers of Red Oak, TX.; sisters, Jeannette Hawkins of Shreveport and Dina Carmouche of Marksville; brother, Louis Lachney, Jr. of Purdon, TX.; grandchildren: Hope Cherie Lacombe and Aaron Matthew Lacombe of Marksville, Tracy St. Romain of Dallas, Tx., Teri Terry of Utah, Joshua Cazelot of St. Francisville, Valeria Brown of Houston, TX., Brooke Stephens of Justin, Tx., Hannah Stephens of Dallas, TX., and Hailey Stephens of Irving, TX. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude & Louis Lachney; daughter, Delia Ann Lacombe; sister, Audrey Bordelon; brothers, Maxie, Hersey, Roland, and Noland Lachney.
Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home (334 Acton Rd., Marksville LA, 71351) has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
