Sadie Vinson Obituary
Mrs. Sadie (Carter) Vinson, 87 of Autryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Reverend Tommy Honeycutt and Reverend Charles Davis officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the service.
Mrs. Vinson was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Hilliard and Jeze Smith Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Penny Vinson; her son, Rob Vinson; her brother, H.P. Carter, Jr.; and her son-in-law, Lloyd Haney.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Faye Fisher and husband, Ray Clark of Roseboro; and Kaye Haney of Autryville; her daughter-in-law, Glenda Vinson; five grandchildren, Kelly Schaffer (Billy), Amber Vinson, Bobby Haney (Alison), Meredith Brown (Blake) and Cameron Wright (Billy); six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
