Saengtavan "Sang" Thepphanava

Saengtavan Thepphanava, age 48, of Eagan, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at 1:35 p.m., surrounded by her loving family.

Saengtavan Thepphanava was born on August 22, 1977, in Laos, to Pastor Daniel and Bounkouam Sisomphou. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1986. She graduated from Eagan High School in 1996 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Argosy University.

On June 14, 1997, Saengtavan married the love of her life, Ackhadeth Thepphanava. They had two children, Mia and Kane. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Saengtavan was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Professionally, Saengtavan Thepphanava worked as a financial analyst and treasurer, where her dedication, intelligence, and integrity were evident in everything she did. Her colleagues admired her work ethic and her caring nature, which made her a joy to work alongside.

Outside of her career, Saengtavan Thepphanava lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, discover charming coffee spots, shop, and stay active in her community.

Saengtavan Thepphanava is preceded in death by her beloved father, Rev. Daniel Sisomphou, and her brother, Saykham Sisomphou. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ackhadeth Thepphanava; cherished children, Mia Thepphanava and Kane Thepphanava; loving mother, Bounkouam Sisomphou; sisters, Vilayphone Ogata, Phimpaka Doyle, Khampasith Davison, and Tia Sisomphou; brothers, Intava Sisomphou, Souriya Sisomphou, Phoxay Sisomphou, and Soulikham Sisomphou; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Church, 2180 Glory Dr., Eagan, MN, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Burnsville, MN.

Saengtavan Thepphanava's life was a reflection of love, faith, and grace. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.
