Salema Dzonlic, age 83, of Snellville, GA passed away October 2nd, 2025. Salema is survived by her husband, Nijazim; sons, Vedin and Edin; daughter-in-laws, Samra and Mersiha; and grandchildren, Hanna, Erwin Mak and Din.

Salema was born in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 13th, 1942, where she spent the first half of her life. She grew up in a loving home with her parents and grandmother, whom she adored. In her youth, she enjoyed dancing, going to the theatre and scouring the local library. She cherished education and obtained a degree in finance before having a successful professional career.

In her later years, she spent her time with her family, in her garden, cooking and baking, reading, and working on her many hobbies. Salema was a dabbler in many pursuits, including crafting, album making, sewing, collecting, and learning. It could be said that boredom seldom found her and she found joy in everyday and everything she did.

She lived a life marked by generosity, always giving more of herself than she ever asked in return. She loved deeply and without reservation and devoted her heart to her grandchildren. Her kindness was a constant comfort, and her presence brought warmth and light to those around her. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the happiness she brought into the lives of others.

A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Salema will be held Sunday, October 5th at 5:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.

Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, 120 Scenic Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (770-963-2411) – Lawrenceville Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
