Sally Iona Amboh, age 49 of Neola passed away at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 20, 2025.
She was born June 24, 1975.
Sally possessed a divine love for her children and her mother. She was known for being the fun auntie to her nieces and nephews by taking them on many mini-adventures. She was an amazing cook for the UIT Headstart for many years. Sally is known for her delicious meals, especially her homemade pizza and spaghetti. She loved music and being in the mountains. Her favorite music group was KISS, and she was a dedicated Steelers fan.
Sally is survived by her children, Joshua Amboh-Cesspooch, Neola; Shantal (Kyleigh) Cesspooch, Vernal; her mother, Angelita Chegup, Neola; sisters, Tara Amboh & Spring Amboh, Neola; Kandra Amboh, Ft. Washakie, Wyoming; aunts, Monica Zhuckkahosee, Sandia, New Mexico; Claudine Perry, Ft. Washakie, Wyoming; Irene Peahrora, Ft. Washakie, Wyoming; Lila Rodriguez, Lovelock, Nevada; uncle, Leonard Roberts, Sage Creek, Wyoming; numerous nieces, nephews, and two grandsons.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Glen Amboh; grandparents, Hugh Chegup, Elaine Wanzitz, Jean Tarness Amboh, and Ned Amboh.
The family would like to thank the EMT’s, UBMC ER staff, and the LDS ICU nurses and doctors for Sally’s care.
She will have a wake after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at her mother, Angelita’s home, 5171 N State Road 121 (Neola Highway). Following the wake, she will be taken to be cremated.
