Carol Ann Balle Morse, age 68, of Cedarview, a vibrant and fearless soul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on February 10, 2025, at the Common Spirit Holy Cross Hospital in Lehi.  With a heart full of faith, she was eager to reunite with her beloved parents and nephew.
Born on May 5, 1956, in Salt Lake City, to Bobby LeRoy and Verona Blackham Balle, Carol lived a life of creativity, love, and determination. On April 14, 2001, she married Douglas Ray Morse, her greatest supporter, in Salt Lake City.  A little over a year later, on April 20, 2002, they were sealed in the Bountiful Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Together, they built a peaceful life in Cedarview, embracing nature and the joys of country living.
Carol loved her family deeply, especially her cherished nieces and nephews, who were her pride and joy. She delighted in watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and sharing in their dreams. Some of her happiest moments were spent dancing, singing, and visiting virtually and in person as often as she could. Her presence was a source of warmth, joy, and laughter. She never missed an opportunity to remind them how special they were to her.
Carol was a fighter who embraced challenges with resilience, from mastering new crafts to transforming her health by losing over 100 pounds. She found joy in cleaning, organizing, movement, and exercise. A devoted teacher, she nurtured children as a nanny, shared the gift of music through piano lessons, and played for the ward Primary, bringing happiness to the little ones she adored.
With a heart as big as her laughter, Carol’s love for life was infectious, and her presence unforgettable. Her love for all things Jesus, animal prints, bright colors, stuffed animals, and sunflowers will always be remembered. Though she has left this world too soon, her legacy of faith, music, joy, and creativity lives on. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, joyfully reunited with her dear parents.
Carol is survived by her husband of 23 years, Doug, of Cedarview; siblings, Wayne (Kathryn) Balle, Layton; Sandra (Kenneth) Hamblin, Alabama; Colleen (Jeff) Parry, Lehi; brother-and sister-in-law, Keith and Jaynee Morse, Erin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Janssen Morse; and a great-niece, Brinley Joy Parry.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15th, at 12:00 noon at the Neola Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a viewing that morning at the church from 10:30 -11:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park
