Sally Auld Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home on Feb. 15, 2026.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Anne Auld, who was born on August 17, 1938, in Denver, Colorado and peacefully passed away on February 15,2026, in Sidney, Ohio.

Sally lived a life defined by strength, determination, and deep love for her family. She embraced many roles throughout her life - serving bravely as a firefighter, working as a miner, and owning and operating a restaurant and bar, along with various other jobs. Whatever path she took, she approached it with resilience, hard work, and heart.

She found her greatest joy in the outdoors and had a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs. Sally's home was always warm and welcoming, often filled with the comforting aromas of her cooking and baking. She generously shared her talents in the kitchen, creating meals and treats that brought her family together and created cherished memories around the table.

For 53 beautiful years, Sally was married to her adoring husband, Darrell Auld. Their love was a steady foundation throughout her life. She was a devoted and cherished mother to her six children: Mike, Nancy, Tom, Steve, Mark, and Jim. She was deeply admired and loved by her 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nina Jo Gee; her father, Pecos Albert Martin; her mother- and father-in-law, Wes and Alice Auld; her brother, Ted Martin; and her beloved grandson, Thomas "Tommy" Delage.

Sally will be remembered for her fierce spirit, her loving heart, her unwavering dedication to her family, and the comfort she provided to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the strength of her family, the stories shared, and the love she so freely gave.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family kindly asks that you make a donation to your local animal shelter in Sally's honor - a tribute to her lifelong love of animals. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
