Sally Ann Beres

Sally Ann Beres, 70, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton Square, Sally Ann had been a resident of Yardville for the past 45 years. She spent many years working at her family's restaurant, Tony Cal's, before later joining the Merchandising Department at American Greetings. Sally Ann was a true fashionista with a passion for shopping and cherished her trips to the Jersey Shore. Above all, she loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, and held a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Snuggles.
Predeceased by her parents, Dominick and Geraldine (Shearer) Petito, she is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, William J. Beres; her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Beres and Larry Steward; her cherished grandchildren, Marc Cheewah Jr., Olivia Steward, and Noah Steward; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Debbie Petito; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Steve and Mary Beres, and Shirley and Tim Oravsky; and as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to any animal charity of the donor's choice. to the family
