Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home - Hamilton on Dec. 1, 2025.
Vasiliki "Vaso" Stamatios Rigas, 87, of Hamilton, NJ entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Serenity Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Vathi, Samos, Greece on March 23, 1938 to parents Christos and Andromachi Christodoulakis, Vaso grew up in Pagondas on the island of Samos, Greece where she met her husband Stamatios "Lincoln" Rigas. The two immigrated to the United States when she was in her 20's and has resided here ever since. Vaso loved cooking, gardening, and raising her three children. They were her world and she loved nothing more than quality time spent with them. She was very religious and enjoyed attending services at St. George Greek Orthodox Church when she was able to.
Vaso was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Daughter of the late Christos and Andromachi Christodoulakis; and beloved wife of the late Stamatios "Lincoln" Rigas.
Vaso is survived by her three loving children, Maria and husband Vasilios "William" Sarigeorgiou, Konstantinos "Dean" and wife Violeta Rigas, and Christina and husband George Svoronos; a granddaughter, Elena Sarigeorgiou; a brother-in-law, Emmanuel Rigas and wife Eleni; as well as many other family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ. Greek Orthodox funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Lincoln.
