Dodge City - Gloria "Sally" Page Brehm, 81, of Dodge City, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma. Sally was born on August 8,1943 to Roland and Ruby (Myers) Page. She joined her brothers Charlie, Gary and Milton Noll at home in Dodge City and later her sister, Cindi was added to the family. She married Larry J. Brehm on July 16, 1961. They walked side by side for 63 years and introduced four children to the world.
Sally was renowned for her unwavering faith and dedication to her family and friends, embodying the spirit of Christian love and kindness throughout her life. Cherishing her family above all else, she found immense joy in family gatherings, where her presence sparked love, laughter, and fun. Her devotion to Christ was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Cimarron and a current member of the Church of the Nazarene in Dodge City.
Sally was a faithful farmers wife and stay-at-home mom for many years. After her children were older, she exhibited her work ethic by serving others in several businesses and later as the "fudge lady" and chief cook at Boot Hill Museum for seventeen years. Sally's diligence, hard work and culinary skills were celebrated until her retirement.
Cherishing her memory is her loving husband, Larry; her daughter, Lara Crotts and son-in-law Jeff of Elk City, Oklahoma; her son, Darin Brehm and daughter-in-law Jennifer of Clay Center; her daughter, Kara Mitchell of Olathe; her daughter, Dara Berg and son-in-law Zak of Boys Town, Nebraska. Sally will be held dear by her greatest joy of nine grandchildren, Macee James (Burton), Garrett Brehm, Josie Brehm, Ashlyn Gessler (Nick), Brooklyn Cole, Carlyn Timp (Nolan), Chaylin Barten (Jessica), Landen Barten, Treyson Barten; four great-grandchildren, Braxton James, Levi and Brevan Gessler, and Cooper Timp; five step-grandchildren and spouses; 12 step-great grandchildren; numerous adopted grandchildren in Africa; and a great many bonus grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Cindi and brother-in-law Brad Martin of Wichita; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Rod and Ruby Page; and her brothers, Charlie, Gary and Milton Noll.
Book signing will be noon to 5pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with the family in attendance from 3:00 PM to 5:00PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Dodge City Church of the Nazarene at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Interment will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, knowing it would make Sally's heart very happy, memorials are requested to be made to: Brooklyn Cole Ministry Fund in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
