Sally E. Combs age 78, of Newport, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born on Turner's Creek in Jackson, Kentucky on November 3, 1946, to the late Charlie and Lillie Spicer (nee Hall).
She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Charles J. Fornash.
Sally is survived by her loving and devoted Husband of 49 years, Clint Combs, Children, Lenora S. Combs, Clinton R. Combs, Grandchildren, Lois (Michael) Gross, Charlena (Matthew) Doeding, Sally N. (Shawn) Russell, Payton E. Combs, Parker E. Combs, Presley E. Combs, Sister, Nora L. (Lee) Hollon, Sister, Nancy Herald; and a host of other family members and friends.
Sally was retired from Cincinnati Bell Telephone and a member of New Friendship Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, watching UK Basketball, sewing, and quilting.
In loving memory of Sally, contributions may be made to Brighton Center, Inc. or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
Funeral Ceremony will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2025,with a visitation from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
Burial will be 12:30 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Bill Combs Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.
