Sally Ann (Brown) Conley, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family in Canon City, Colorado. Born on July 10, 1945, she is survived by her sister, Delores Hutton of Atwater, California; her daughter, Sandy Little; her sons, Larry Conley Jr., Andrew Conley, and Tim Conley; along with 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Conley.
Sally was a native of Colorado, born and raised in Cripple Creek, where she shared her childhood and adolescent years with her 6 siblings. She later met and married the love of her life, and husband of 41 years, Larry Conley. Sally was the glue that held her husband's dreams of having his own business together, when they jointly started Conley Construction after years of working for others. Sally never missed an opportunity to support her children, attending all their athletic events, cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and wife, who dedicated her life to her family.
Sally found joy in simple pleasures, often hosting card games, which were a favorite pastime she shared with family and friends. She was also a fantastic cook and baker, known for her delicious recipes that brought everyone together.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate Sally's life. Sally will be greatly missed, but we find comfort in knowing that she is home and reunited with loved ones. We love you mom.
