Mrs. Gankiewicz was born in Kazmierek, Poland to Feliks and Konstancia (Urbanek) Szadkowski.
Living in Indiana for 65 years, Sally was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Glenn Merkel of Key Largo, FL.
Preceding her in death was her husband Stanley Gankiewicz on October 8, 2003, and her parents.
Burial will take place privately at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.
Memorial donations to the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, 219 N. Providence Pl., West Terre Haute, IN 47885, would be appreciated.
