I met Sally in early 1978. We both worked at banks and had sons who are close to the same age. Over the years, it turned from a friendship to being Framily. Experiences together involved many hardships, trips, vacations, adventures, experiences, accomplishments, joys and sorrows. In addition we shared kids, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays and hobbies together. Sally and I had tons of laughs during long phone calls, Red Hat events, scrapbooking, crafts, and more. My favorite memory is the impromptu, all day drive searching for local beautiful trees decorated with bright, vibrant fall leaves, taking lots of photos and laughing so hard that we had tears in our eyes. Oh course there was also the infamous Utica Square fountain incident which gave us years of laughter too. One of the things I always appreciated about Sally, was her viewpoints. While they were often opposite of mine, she was a good sounding board which helped me understand other's point of views. Luckily for us, our love and agreement to "agree to disagree" helped on many differing subjects. There was nothing I wouldn't have done to help Sally any time she asked and she will always have a very special place in my heart. I loved her and will miss her.
