Sally Slinker Obituary
Sally Ann Slinker, Age 70, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away on February 2, 2024, at Shawnee PARC nursing home surrounded by family. Memorial services will be held at Overland Park Funeral Chapel on February 15 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery directly after the memorial.
Sally was born May 15, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived most of her life in Prairie Village where she graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. She worked many years at Skaer’s Barber and Beauty Supply, which her parents (Everett and Marie) owned. One of Sally’s favorite things to do was to go to garage sales and to have garage sales. She ran a flea market for a few years from this love of knickknacks. She also enjoyed being with friends and playing games. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Herb and grandson Owen. She is survived by her son Corey, his wife Erika, their three children Nicholas, Lukas and Rylie, and sister-in-law Donna Jones.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
