Sally Thames Obituary

She was born in Wheeling on June 15, 1951, daughter of the late, William and Mabel (Gikler) Thames.
Sally graduated from the former Triadelphia HS and was a Methodist. She made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked at Citibank, but she was always a WV Mountaineer. Everybody who met Sally, once they got to know her will remember her as the "Life of the Party" and just a Teddy Bear.
Sally is survived by her best friend, Darlene Strickler; brother, Thomas L. (Julie) Thames; nephew, Jason (Christine) Thames; niece, Tricia Thames; her dog Mabel; other family, Sandy (Carroll) Thames along with great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday June 25, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm, and again on Thursday June 26, 2025 from 9 am until the time of service at 10 am at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
