Sally A. Thiessen

Sally A. (Roach) Thiessen, of Doylestown, formerly of New Hope, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 85. She was the loving wife of the late John Thiessen and the late Thomas J. Fraser, Jr. Sally was a resident of Bucks County for 65 years.

Sally was born in Philadelphia to the late Elliston S. and Sarah M. (Trainor) Roach. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph M. Fraser; her granddaughter, Jessica; her brother, Frank Roach; and her sister, Eva Suzanne Stiles.

While Sally had multiple careers throughout her life, none were as rewarding as raising her children and babysitting her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy. She had a passion for life, faith and crocheting. She not only made blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but also donated many blankets to Doylestown Hospital, where she volunteered in her later years. She approached every day with an incredible spirit and sense of humor.

Sally is survived by her children, Thomas J. Fraser, III and his wife Valerie, of Sellersville, PA, Sarah Ann Panasiuk and her husband Joseph, of Hatboro, PA, and Allison M. Bunting and her husband John, of Kitty Hawk, NC; her grandchildren, Nicole, Katrina, Melanie, Thomas, Alex, Alyssa, Shannon, and Shane; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Sergo.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in celebration of Sally's life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church, 1856 Forest Grove Road, Forest Grove, PA 18922. Interment to follow, weather permitting.
