Salvatore Rizzo Obituary
Salvatore served in the US Army – special forces – in Germany during the Korean War. He was a very proud Korean War Veteran.
Salvatore was a social studies teacher at Selden Middle School in the Middle Country School District, which he also ran the History Bowls for some time, which he looked forward to and loved!
Salvatore passed away on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2023. He is forever loved and will be missed.

Mr Rizzo was one of my very favorite Social Studies teacher. I enjoyed his classes and the conversations we had after school. He had a unique style of teaching. He was one of the "Good Ones". He cared alot about his students. Rest in Peace, Mr Rizzo, I know God said to you "Good work my faithful Son". My prayers are with the Family. I pray they all feel the Lord's presence as they grieve.
