The Twenty-Third Psalm The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Because I Care by May M. Tarver Make me laugh when I am sad, Make me strong when things get bad. Give me strength along the way, I will help my friends, come what may. Because I care, I stopped to pray. I will give my thanks to God each day Because my heart is full of love, We are all God's children. We all have a place in this wonderful world. So don't be sad, your friends are near. I will be strong and hold your hand to help you through whatever you fear. And someday soon you'll understand that after the rain, the sun will shine and all your troubles will be left behind. Then you will know the lesson I have learned. Because I care and stopped to pray, I will give my thanks to God each day.
