Samantha Marie Taylor

Samantha Marie Taylor, age 34, a lifelong resident of Des Plaines, passed away on August 11, 2025. Born September 5, 1990, in Park Ridge to John and Suzanne (née Okon) Taylor, Samantha brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning. She was the loving mother of her greatest joy, Chloe Taylor. Cherished sister to Danielle (Cory) Vandeputte, Michelle Taylor, and Megan Taylor. Proud and adoring aunt to Mia, Charlotte, Melanie, Armando, Mateo, and Evelyn. Treasured granddaughter of Frances Taylor and lifelong best friend to Kim Lange, who shared countless memories and adventures with her. To know Samantha was to be touched by her vibrant spirit. She had a contagious laugh, and a heart that never stopped giving. With her big personality and playful nature, she could turn any moment into a memory worth keeping. She loved to sing with a voice that could fill a room with warmth. Her passion for tattoos told the story of her life in art and ink. Samantha's love extended deeply to animals whether cats, dogs, or birds, she cared for them as if they were family. Above all, she held her family and friends closest to her heart, ready to stand by them without hesitation. Her presence was a gift, her love unconditional, and her absence will be felt forever. Samantha will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5:00 pm until a service at 7:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
