Sean J. Heidrich

Sean James Heidrich, age 26, of Des Plaines passed away August 8, 2025. He was born March 7, 1999 in Park Ridge, Illinois. Beloved son of Peter and Amy (nee Miller) Heidrich. Loving brother of Nicholas Heidrich. Cherished grandson of James (the late Rita) Miller, David (the late Nancy Miller) Zerkel and Monika ( the late Anton) Heidrich. Dear nephew of James and Marianne Brady, William and Michelle Heidrich, David Miller and Michelle DeLong, Robert Pashegoba and Charles Pashegoba. Fond first cousin of Alexandra, Hugh, Christopher, Emma, Elizabeth, Coleman, Colleen, Christina and Rebecca. Sean was a chess enthusiast since grade school, competing at regional and state tournaments.In college he started a chess club at UIC, which is where he met his closest friends. He was also an animal lover and enjoyed strategic boardgaming with family and friends. He was an IT student and competed on the high school track team. Sean was quiet, loving and kind. His memory will forever fill our hearts. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
