Her name was Samantha Joann Warren Baker and she was a beautiful and caring soul. People who knew and loved Sammy Jo describe her as a loving, down to earth person who loved life and wanted to see others happy, but mostly they will tell you how much she loved her children. They were her entire world and she was a wonderful mother to them.
It shouldn't have been a surprise to any of us that Sammy Jo would be such a loving mother because she was a mama before her time. She took care of her little brother Brandon like she was his little mother even though she was only around seven years old herself. Samantha was a tomboy and loved to fight with Brandon too. Her father said she loved riding the three-wheeler and remembers when she caught her first bass and how she would run to him for protection when her Mama got on her for saying a naughty word.
Her Nanny will tell you how sweet Samantha was and how she had Pa wrapped around her little finger. She isn't wrong. Pa loved his baby girl and would take her riding on his bike from the body shop to Chewning Jr. High; her little arms wrapped around his neck. She made you giggle with her silliness, whether it was making a skirt out of a pair of shorts ("my kirt" as she called it) or naming her cat "Strawberry Fart." She was adorable and a joy to be around.
Samantha's smile could brighten the room and this is something that didn't change as she got older. Her smile was wide and made the person seeing it want to smile too. As a child she was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost and as an adult she would say to Pa "I love you in Jesus' name." She was Pa's baby no matter how old she was or how many babies she had of her own.
Samantha was born December 8, 1989 and left this world much too soon on March 8, 2023, but you can see her in her children Christopher, Tori Lynn, MacKenzie, Cameron, Isobel, and Navee. You can look into her eyes and see her smile in each of them. She lives on through them and through the memories of her family; her mother Caren Rhew, father Bruce Warren, brother Brandon Warren and his sons Ben and Liam, sisters Alyssa Jacobs and Makayla McClain, grandparents Phil and Cathy Petty and Joanne Rhew, and her boyfriend Chris Rigsbee.

Aunt Cat thinks about you all the time? I look at your picture every day on my refrigerator, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Words can't describe how much I miss you. You are like my daughter.
My first memory of you is the love I felt when I first laid eyes on you. You are forever in my heart.I love you
