Samira Xhaferi

Albi Çela, 30, and Samira Xhaferi, 28, who were engaged, tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Samira was a dedicated PhD student at Cleveland State University and the beloved daughter of Fatos and Miranda Xhaferi. She was also a cherished sister to Sidrit Xhaferi.

Albi was completing law school at Cleveland State University Law and preparing for the bar exam; he was the cherished son of Ledina Memcaj & Xhevahir Cela. He was also a dear brother of Klit Cela.

Both were known for their kindness, curiosity, and love of learning, as well as the warmth and care they showed to everyone around them.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Stom Golem Cemetery (Shkoder, Albania).

Samira Xhaferi, 28 vjeç, dhe Albi Çela, 30 vjeç, të fejuar, humbën jetën tragjikisht në një aksident automobilistik në Cleveland, Ohio, të martën, më 11 nëntor.

Samira ishte studente e doktoraturës në Cleveland State University dhe vajza e dashur e Fatos dhe Miranda Xhaferi dhe motra e Sidrit Xhaferi. 

Albi ishte në përfundim të studimeve në Cleveland State University Law dhe po përgatitej për provimin e jurisprudencës; ai ishte djali i çmuar i Xhevahir Cela dhe Ledina Memcaj, dhe vellai i Klit Cela. 

Të dy njiheshin për mirësinë, kureshtjen dhe dashurinë e tyre për dijen, si edhe për ngrohtësinë dhe kujdesin që tregonin ndaj çdo personi përreth tyre.
