Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Sammy Bowen, age 51, of Boyce, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his residence in Boyce, Louisiana.
Sammy is his preceded in death by his father, Sammy Lynn Bowen, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Bowen; his daughter, Katherine Lynn Bowen; his step-children, Gage Nugent (Shaely), and Evan Nugent (Kassi); his grandchildren, Paisley Nugent, Everley Nugent, and Hazel Nugent; his mother, Helen Foster (Sidney); siblings, Amanda Dordell, and Kenneth Bowen (Vicki); a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces; other family and friends.
An accomplished tattoo artist at Freedom Tattoos in Leesville, Louisiana, Sammy loved singing rock music with his friends. His passions were classic cars, going to rock concerts with his wife and his daughter; and spending time with his many tattoo clients. He always looked forward to spending his Mondays with his granddaughter, Paisley. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
