Public viewing 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home - Wilmington, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Reverend Lemon's life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Dowe and Lemon Family Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Dorothy Lemon of the home; children, Samuel James Lemon (Vanita) and Sampson Lemon, III (Sonia) both of Charlotte, Shileta Lemon of Leland and Latonia Williams of Greensboro, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
