Samuel Bethea Obituary
Samuel Bethea affectionately known as Man and Uncle Man was born in New Haven, CT to Samuel and Nancy Bethea on May 16, 1963.
He went to school in New Haven where he also worked as a construction worker for many years. Samuel was an active and supportive family member. He was known to give his last to help others.
Samuel is survived by his daughter Tina Alford, Ex-Wife and life-long friend Betty Alford, siblings; Diane Bethea, Janet Younge and Andre Bethea, four grandchildren; Cammeron Hardy, Juelz Hardy, Quadir Nixon and Bella Nixon. Samuel also leaves to remember him a special friend of ten years Cassandra and her children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents; Samuel and Nancy Bethea, his grandparents; Preston and Tillie Leggett, Francis and Samuel Bethea, his siblings; Stanley Bethea, Hattie Melton, Serena Walker and Robert Bethea.
In lieu of flowers and cards, they may be sent to his daughter Tina Alford or given to her at the memorial service.
