Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm and Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:00 am till 11:00 am.

Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:00 am.

Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO with full military honors provided by VFW 2210.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Disabled Sportsman Assn. or Family Use.

He was a member of Am. Legion 150, VFW 2210, Ste. Gen. Elks 2674. Sam "The Mailman" enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, reading, but most of all he enjoyed his time with his friends and family. He will always be remembered by his witty humor and storytelling.
