Samuel Doctorian visited a small church in Quail Valley (Mo. City, TX) several times in the late 70's/early 80's. As a teenager, I was deeply impacted by his missionary stories of the miraculous, and his sincere devotion to Jesus. I reached out to him years later while going through a tough time, and though he did not even know me, he emailed me a response before preaching to the largest church of Asia on Easter 2014 and the people celebrating his 74th birthday. I am writing about him today as I prepare a sermon for a seminary class on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was never the same having encountered him.

This news came as a shock to me. Brother Samuel is a dear friend of mine. He prayed for me when I was sick almost 30 years ago in Sydney, Australia. I love Brother Samuel for he is a true friend and a faithful servant of God. May The Lord bless his soul and his family, till we meet again in our Father's house.

I hadn't been in touch with Brother Samuel in so many years and just came across this obituary from 2016. Just wanted to say that he made such an impact on my life back in 1984 while I lived at Bibleland Missions in Mels, Switzerland. I loved singing at his conferences there. He has always held a special place in my heart. What a Godly man who touched so many in his lifetime. I know he is missed by so many even now, 4 years since his passing!

I just now read the obituary with sweet sadness and many, many memories. "How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news..." On February 22 it will be twenty years since, in North Platte, Nebraska, Bro. Samuel claimed victory for us both from 2nd Samuel 22....in Oregon the prayer for Noa, my x-ray tech, childless after three miscarriages: "Bless you, daughter, you will have a beautiful child!", first twin boys followed by more children, praise God...the 2004 conference in Patmos on the Second Coming and the tour of Israel afterwards...his words and works of comfort and empowerment will build for all time and eternity, just as his Master has promised. Thank you, humble and beloved servant of The Most High unto the least of His children.

Our dearest 'daddy' Samuel Doctorian is home with all the saints. Waiting for his loved ones, and all the people he prayed for. We know the family since 1968. Helped in finance, translate the BLM magazine into Dutch. Daddy left a great legacy. I thank the Lord for that. I remember so much sermons that touched me. Also the contact with his wonderful wife, mom Naomi. I pray the Lord to comfort Samuels wife and his children, grandchildrden..

Fire in the Sky. Fondest memories of the revival days in Brixton, London when I had the privilege to be organist for him during those visits.

I knew Samuel very well when he came to Brighton, England. What a powerful preacher and such a godly man. I am 83 now and just thought of his name when I was writing my book. I have just missed him now and found him remembered by so many.
I was a young preacher in those days having spent 8 years in Chicago and Milwaukee. I have lost touch with Samuel from about 1965 - what a shame - we will have much to talk about when we meet again.

I just read Mr. Doctorians' book (God Will Not Fail You) for the first time...it ministered to me so deeply! It was given to me upon my return home from my first visit to Israel. I cannot understand why God wouldn't have allowed me to physically sit under his teaching. I wish with all my heart to have had this opportunity! May his ministry continue to echo Gods' heartbeat throughout the world! Mighty Blessings be upon his family!!!

It was a privileged to hear Dr. Doctorian speak several times through my teen years. His passion for Christ and for people to know Him was so infectious! Nearly 20 years has passed since I last had the opportunity to hear him speak, and it saddens me to learn of his passing. But the mark he made on my life and all those who had the opportunity to meet him is a lasting memory that with be cherished deeply. May we meet again!

Reverend Samuel Doctorian made a huge difference in my life when he came to minister to our church in Watson, LA in the 80s and 90s. He helped turn my life around. He will be missed by many.

Only learned about his passing today 4 April 2018 and i am extremely saddened by it. I attended a few church services where he preached while visiting South Africa and would never forget any of it. I always wanted to go on a Bible land tour with him as tour leader because he knew those areas like the palm of his hands! Sadly this would only be a wish in my heart. I plan to read his book again. Blessings to his family.

Going through one of his books today (March 2018), and googled this awesome person of God. So sad to read of his passing. Had the privilege of meeting him in South Africa.
He prayed for a cousin of mine who was in an accident in 2004.
My cousin is now well and will 32 soon. He even blessed a towel for me to give to my cousin in hospital. I will never forget you.

Rev. Doctorian had a profound influence on my life. I first heard him preach in my church in Chicago in the mid 1970s. He stayed for a while, so I had the benefit of hearing him many times. I had never encountered the word delivered with such love and compassion. I am also happy to say that I was baptised by him, and will never forget his example. Also, the last words he spoke to me were to always look to Christ and not to a person. I will never forget!

I have been wondering from time to time how Dr Samuel is. Yesterday at Dr Billy Grahams passing, immediately Dr Samuel again came to mind. I have met him in person and have been greatly ministered to by his word of knowledge and his books. I MISS THIS GREAT SERVANT OF GOD!!!

Many years ago, Dr. Samuel prayed over me after two consecutive miscarriages. He prophesied I would have a child that was healthy, beautiful and intelligent. She is all these things and so much more.
I am so sad to hear of his passing today. God bless his family. He truly was a man of God!

I met Dr Samuel Doctorian in my church at 1986 in Singapore...a very simple prophet of God of Israel who still used a worned out suitcase for his overseas travelling...I never saw a human face with a glow of light in my entire life and it freaked me out...this prophet had many personal encounters with the Holy God just like Moses did as mentioned in the Old Testament in the Holy Bible...God is pleased to have Dr Samuel Doctorian with Him...Shalom

I have never met Dr Sam but have heard about him and I know and have met Rev Luther, his son.
His life teaches me this..."We can be like Jesus....like Dr Sam, like Rev Billy Graham, like Reinhart, like Apostle Paul, Apostle John....
... if we would truly pursue Jesus and love Him with all our heart, our mind, our strength .. our soul ... Jesus said John 14:12..
Let's do so before the sun sets on us.... before His Majestic Second Coming....

Only now I got the news of Rev. Doctorian's passing away to glory. I have had the great privilege to serve as his translator in Holland and Belgium for many years. I translated many other men of God, including Benny Hinn, but I will always remember Samuel Doctorian as a unique witness of the simplicity and the power of the Gospel. He was a spiritual hero, and yet he always remained so humble. I greatly respect his person and his exceptional ministry.
