Samuel F. Fabrizzio, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was 75 years old. Sam, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on August 14, 1949 to the late Frank and Marie (née Ricci) Fabrizzio. He was the beloved husband to Parnella C. (née McGlinchy) Fabrizzio with whom he is survived by.
Sam grew up in Our Lady of Pompeii parish and attended Dobbins Vocational High School. He was a passionate music fan, loving Southern Rock and Blues. He enjoyed playing guitar, watching movies, college sports, and was an avid fan of all Philly sports team. Sam retired 10 years ago after 30 years of driving a truck for the Faulkner Organization.
Sam is the step father to the late Michelle Krystkiewicz, Jennifer L. Burke, Thomas M. Krystkiewicz Jr. (Maureen) Amy Krystkiewicz (Susan), and grandfather to James P. Burke, Liam T. Burke, Tyler J. Burke, Thomas M. Krystkiewicz III, Gwyneth M. Krystkiewicz, and Mason K. Serianni. He was also the brother to Theresa Tortual (Thomas), uncle to Tina Young (Ryan) and Traci Tortual, and great nieces: Isabella Young and Emma Young. He is missed by his feline buddy, Red.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sam's Life Celebration on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. followed by his memorial service at 1:30 a.m. at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154. Interment is private. Donations in his memory to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 West 34th St., Kansas City, MO 64111, www.vfw.org would be greatly appreciated
