Samuel E. Garver

Samuel E. Garver, 88, of Shenango Township passed away the afternoon of October 18, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born September 2, 1936 in New Castle Sam was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Baker Garver.
Sam is survived by his beloved wife, the former Audrey Dean. The two were married on June 25, 1966.
Sam had worked as a Foreman for many years for Bruce & Merilees Electric until he retired.
He was a member of Independent Methodist Church. Sam had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Sam enjoyed working and taking care of his yard. He was known as a Jack of All Trades and loved helping his family and friends. A loving husband and father Sam's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his two children, Chad E. Garver and Clint A. Garver (Dana L.).
Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Frederick Gilbert officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform full Military Rites on Thursday at the Cemetery.
