Samuel Isom Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native Ft. Campbell, Kentucky he was born on March 29, 1963 the son of the late Reed Von Isom and Iona Joyce Daniel Isom of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his sister, Hannah Joyce Isom.
He attended Westview Assembly of God Church and was a facilitator with the Kentucky Unemployment Office for 27 and a half years. He had also worked as a Nurse Aide for several years.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his brother: Timothy Reed (Denise) Isom of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Donnie Isom, Sarah McCord and Alecia Underwood; his great nieces and nephews, Truett Underwood, Charlotte Underwood, Zoey Isom, Austin McCord and Tiana McCord.
Contributions may take the form of donations to Gideons International or Pennyroyal Hospice
