Samuel Joseph Johnson, born in 1938 in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and devotion to family.
Samuel proudly served in the United States military before beginning a long and dedicated career as a welder at the Alameda Naval Air Force Base. His work ethic, discipline, and craftsmanship reflected the strong values by which he lived his life.
A man of deep Catholic faith, Samuel was guided by strong morals and integrity. He was known to be a thoughtful and attentive listener, offering wisdom, patience, and kindness to those around him. In his personal life, he expressed creativity through art welding, pencil sketching, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Samuel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dolores Maria Johnson, and a loving father to his children, Ross, Vanise, Anita, and Eddie. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great joy and pride.
Samuel Joseph Johnson will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering faith, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he passed down. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
