Samuel Lucas Kaminski

We are sad to announce the passing of Samuel (Sam) Lucas Kaminski on December 28, 2023, at his home in Des Moines Iowa.
Sam was born in Derby Connecticut on November 14, 1983. He moved to Texas as a young child with his family. Sam grew up in Highland Village and Flower Mound Texas. He attended Edward s Marcus High school and graduated with the class of 2002. While growing up Sam was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and reached the rank of Eagle Scout.
After high school Sams education continued while he attended Trinity University in San Antonio graduating with a degree in political science. He then followed up with attaining his law degree at Tulane University School of Law, graduating in 2009. He received his law license on May 6, 2011.
Sam practiced with the State of Texas as an Assistant Attorney General with the Child Support Division in the Brownsville, McAllen, and Dallas areas. He enjoyed being a lawyer and was proud of the work he did.
Sam was an avid video gamer, making many friends around the country. He also enjoyed watching college and professional football, being well versed in statistics and outcomes of the games. Another hobby and pastime for Sam was cooking with his dad and brothers.
Sam was preceded in death by his father Edward T Kaminski.
He leaves behind the love of his life Giovanna Giordano of McAllen, Texas. His mother Elizabeth and stepfather Charles Brannon of Hideaway Texas. Brothers Benjamin Kaminski of Spring Town Texas and Daniel Kaminski of Dallas Texas. Paternal Grand Parents Leokadija (Lee) and Edward Kaminski of Fairfield Connecticut. As well as multiple Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A grave side service will be held on January 27th at 3pm at Old Hall Cemetery; 1200 McGee Lane, Lewisville, TX.
