Samuel M. Mwangi was born in Muranga, Kenya on September 8, 1966, to the late Peter Mwangi Gachera and Sarafina Wambui.
Samuel Mwangi spent his working days teaching students in Nantucket Public Schools.
Samuel leaves behind his loving wife Jane Wanjiru Kariuki, both his parents, and along with a host of many other loving relatives and friends to remember his loving legacy.
Visiting Service and Funeral Services will all be held at George Lopes Funeral Home located on 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301 on April 26, 2024, from 4:00-8:00PM.

I was grateful to have Mr Mwangi as a Chemistry teacher my sophomore year of high school. The stories and memories he brought meant much more to me than
what he may have been teaching in the class. Although it was a very rough year for him, he still managed to keep a smile and spread it amongst his students. My condolences go out to his friends, family, and anyone affected by his passing.

Once, when I won an in class activity, Mr. Mwangi highlighted my name on the board. Despite us being 3 months into the school year, he still didn't know my last name, so he put my online username, Jeremy Burner instead. Later in the year, after we had gotten to know each other better, we had a good laugh about that moment. Throughout the year I knew him, Samuel Mwangi was not the best teacher I ever had, but the best man I ever knew.

Mr Mwangi did a great job of bringing life to the classroom. He had great school spirit as show in this picture of him holding up a C for Cardinals.

Last year Mr. Mwangi was my Chemistry teacher at Cardinal Spellman Highschool. He really brought the classroom to life everyday and was by far one of the most fun teachers I've ever gotten to experience. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace.
