Samuel Nix Obituary
Samuel Stephen Nix, age 32, of Otto, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2024.
Born on November 20, 1992, Sam was the beloved son of Curtis Lamar Nix and Lisa Renee Nix. A 2011 graduate of Pasco Comprehensive High School, he had a passion for cooking and hunting. He especially cherished coon hunting with his grandpa and deer hunting with his dad. Sam had a natural love for children and found great joy in spending time and playing with them.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael Lamar Nix; grandparents, Jean Nix and Romona and Arthur Gay; aunts, Judy Marchman (Ben) and Orman David Gay (Kristie); great-aunt, Janie Adams; and his cousins, Ashley Marchman, Joshua Gay, Lexi Williams, Christopher Williams, and Alexander Williams.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Nix.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Wollfork Christian Fellowship.
The family kindly asks that, in place of flowers, donations be made to Hunter Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs. Donations may be made by using the link provided below.
