Samuel "Sambo" Sauceda, age 49, of Brownwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Celebration of Life for Samuel will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at Blaylock Funeral Home; private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Samuel was born on May 6, 1973, to Daniel Sauceda Sr. and Maria Elena Nino (Robles) Sauceda in Del Rio, Texas.
Sam was a son, a brother, and a father. He always worked hard and loved to have fun. He enjoyed dancing, grilling, and taking care of his horses. Sam always had a sense of humor; he was always ready to get a laugh out of those who were around him. He thought he was the best-looking man in the room.
Sam is survived by his four children, Samuel Sauceda and wife Shelbie of Brownwood, Mark Sauceda of Brady, Ashley Sauceda of Brady, Seleste Sauceda of Brady, and four grandchildren, Mayela, Sabriah, Serenity, and Serena all of Brownwood; mother, Maria Elena Robles Sauceda of Villa Union Coahuila, Mexico; sister, Elisabeth Sanchez and husband Jose of Brownwood; and brother, Daniel Sauceda Jr. of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Sauceda Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Antonio Sauceda Sr. and Maria Hinojosa Sauceda; and uncle, Antonio Sauceda Jr.
