Samuel Taylor Snyder

Our beloved son, Samuel Taylor Snyder, born April 3,1994, passed into God's loving arms on September 24, 2022. Sam was a kind-hearted, passionate and loving young man with a beautiful soul. He was extremely generous, always doing for others, never saying no to anyone who needed his help.
A natural athlete, Sam loved running and completed two marathons (the first with his mother in 2015 and the second in 2019). He was registered to run his third marathon on the day of his passing, but a foot injury derailed his training. He had his sites set on training for an Ironman competition.
Sam was an extremely bright young man, with an amazing work ethic, having obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron with a 4.0 GPA.
Sam loved and was deeply loved by all those he left behind to mourn his loss and celebrate his life - his parents Brandon and Beth Snyder, his brother Nate, his grandmother Billie Otto, his beloved fiance Danielle Soroczak and the entire Soroczak family, his aunts, uncles and cousins, his many friends and co-workers, his dog Ezra, his cat Gatsby and his late dog Ziggy.
In memory of, and to honor Sam, please consider a donation to One of a Kind Pet Rescue or a charitable organization of your choice. Or, perhaps take a hike, ride a bike, or kayak through one of our beautiful Metro Parks or the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and think of Sam, as he loved the great outdoors.
Sammy, we love you so very much and will be looking forward to that day when we all will be together again.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2022 at The Bath Church, United Church of Christ, 3980 West Bath Road, with visitation prior to the service from 9:30 -11:00 AM. A private interment will take place at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Bath Township.
