Samuel “Sam” Ryan Templin, 35, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2026. Born in Monroe, North Carolina, on January 5, 1991, but spent some of his childhood in Sumter, South Carolina.
Samuel enjoyed spending time with friends, fishing, listening to music, and working on cars. He also enjoyed cooking and dancing. Samuel was a great person who would do anything to help anyone. He had a very giving heart. He is loved by those close to him and will be dearly missed.
Samuel spent most of his work experience cooking, auto repair and landscaping.
He is survived by his parents Connie Templin (John) Foster, and Rick Manus. His son, Declan Clark (Age 9), his younger sister Mary Bennett, a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James Alvin and Carolyn Mills Templin, Paternal grandfather Pete Manus.
A Memorial Service has been held at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Templin Family.
