Samuel Willett

Samuel "Sonny Boy" Willett, age 86 went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2025. He was born in Waverly, KY on April 14, 1938 to the late James and Edna Willett. Samuel worked in construction all of his life until he retired at the age of 55. Sam loved his Kentucky Wildcats, hanging out with his family and friends.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Paul Willett, James Jr. Willett, and George Willett; his sister, Mary Smith

The service will be 1PM Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield, KY. Fr. Freddie Byrd will officiate. The burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. The visitation will be 4-7PM Thursday with prayers beginning at 7PM and 10AM until service time on Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
