Samuel Isaac Zaritsky
1983 ~ 2025
Sam, Samy with one "m", Sammy with two "m's", Sami with one "m" and one "i", Sammi with two "m's" and an "i", there is a variation of Samie with "ie" that exists somewhere - but not here, Le Sam (the French version), Samel-i, Sam'l The Camel, Samuel, Samuel Isaac, Samuel Isaac Zaritsky.
He was preceded by Peggy Anne Taylor, Robert C. Taylor, Israel/Isador/Izzy/Eddy/Ed (we don't actually know Zayda's first name) Zaritsky, Bubbie aka Goldie/Golda Libba Zaritsky, Laura Gates Dean (Great Grammy. Thanks for the "Grammy Cheese" which is also widely known as American Kraft Singles), Samuel Zaritsky (we get this one is confusing), Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sharptooth, Maude Flanders, Johns (Lennon and Denver - who may or may not be full of shit), Sir Robin who bravely ran away (could still be alive), Pizza The Hutt and probably Adam and Eve – depending on what you believe.
Survived by: us (IYKYK).
He was an accomplished musical performer, producer and composer. An exceptional creator and editor of videos. Literal genius. An avid hiker and outdoorsman. A lover of snowboarding, basketball, skydiving, running (even ran a marathon), ultimate frisbee and rock climbing. Sam enjoyed cooking and educating himself in various health-conscious cuisines - between his bouts of Haagen Dazs and Cinnamon Life cereal. He was a lifelong learner. He loved creating things, making people laugh (truly a talent of his), helping people - REALLY helping people - technology, electronics, writing, music, problem solving and thinking. He was a compassionate caretaker and an extremely hard worker. Above all, his sense of humor always rose to the occasion (even when "inappropriate").
You are a brother, a son, an uncle, an incredible human and a friend. Thank you for being our professional photographer/videographer for your nephews' events, for always being so thoughtful, for making each of us unique and tailored birthday/miscellaneous videos, for your selflessness and always being willing to help your family. Thank you for creating life-lasting videos and music we can enjoy on repeat, for encouraging all of us to improve our relationships, for playing games (outwardly cheating or not) and for being an educator and sharer of talents. Thank you for your long conversations and for always making us laugh.
R.I.P.

Sam, you and your humor will be truly missed and you will be forever loved.
