Sandie Klingberg Obituary

She was born in Elgin, Illinois on December 21, 1946, to Ann and Herbert Axel Klingberg. Sandie died on December 22, 2024, in a Temple hospital at the age of 78.
She was a resident of Salado for over 20 years, and a member of the Salado Presbyterian Church. She worked for the Stagecoach Inn, Mill Creek Country Club, represented Avon products in Bell County and part-time at The Wild Hair Salon.
Sandie is preceded by her parents.
Sandie is survived by her son, Thomas Shepard and wife Ginger of Pensacola, Florida; granddaughter, Sarah Wayland of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Sonja Hintler and husband, Max of Wisconsin; brother, Scott Klingberg and wife Lisa of Ft. Meyers, Florida and a host of many friends.
Visitation will be at 1:30 pm prior to the service.

Sandie's Swedish Sugar Cookies
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of Crisco
1 egg
½ tsp. vanilla
2 cups of flour
½ tsp. cream of tartar
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
Mix together in the order given. Drop by the tsp. on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
