Sandie Van Auker Obituary
Sandra "Sandie" Van Auker, Age 71, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2024. She was born in Pittsburg, CA on August 24, 1953 to the late Wayne and June Moxley. She was truly the most loving, kindhearted person and enjoyed life with people until the day she died. She was always dressed to the "nines" and especially loved polka dots. Sandie was an elementary school teacher/tutor for over 45 years in both Akron and San Diego. Retired in June 2018.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dave; brothers Steve and Kevin Moxley, and the late David Moxley. She will be missed by many family members and friends throughout the world met during numerous vacations.
Visitation will be Thursday October 3rd from 3-6 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home located at 3475 Copley Rd. Copley OH 44321. There will be no church service at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled later.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Summit County Humane Society.
