Sandra Acree Obituary
Sandra ("Sandy") Acree,78, passed away on Thursday April 21, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1944 in Louisville, KY. She was a graduate of Waggener High School. She spent most of her career at State Farm Insurance where she developed many close friendships. She had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her cats, dogs and birds. She even taught her African Gray parrot to talk. Summer was her favorite season where she spent hours in her pool with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dorothy Pollock and her longtime partner, James Powell Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Dean (Lee), her son, Joe Acree (Kristie), her grandson, Justin Acree and sister, Terri Simpson along with many other family members and friends. Visitation will be at Pearson's Funeral Home (149 Breckenridge Lane) on Tuesday, April 26 from 4pm- 7pm. Funeral Services at noon on Wednesday, April 27th with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery, her final resting place, where she would often visit to stroll through the gardens.
